SUBMARINE ANCHOR SYSTEM

A patented underhull anchor turning mechanism solution using the Manson Submarine Anchor. The turning system enables both 90 degree turning (for symmetric baseplate) and 180 degrees turning (for asymmetric baseplate) of the Submarine Anchor. No matter the rotating position, the anchor can be aligned every time for secure and safe stowage. Can be installed into all hull types (steel, aluminium or GRP) whilst adhering to all galvanic isolation. Full system includes anchor pocket, windlasses, hawse pipe and related spares.

Available in SAF2205 or 316 stainless steel. Custom designs available. Lloyd’s Register build certificates available. Patent granted.

SUBPLOUGH SYSTEM

Patent pending underwater deployment solution that works with the proven yachting favourite Manson Plough (CQR style) Anchor.  Designed to be as simple as possible, with no additional lifting devices. Gravity and windlass power drive the entire system. A very crew-friendly deployment system which requires only precautionary supervision during retrieval.

Available in titanium or stainless steel. Standard or custom designs available. Class build certificates available. Patent pending

LIGHTWEIGHT REMOVABLE ANCHOR SYSTEM

Fully removable submarine system that you can drop out of the boat, within two hours, for raceweight optimisation. No more dragging an anchor, chain, system and windlass around the racecourse with you. When you’re back at the dock, it’s a simple process to bring the system back on board.  When it’s time to cruise you have a reliable anchor system that is up to the task for those windy nights.

Hull Deployment Systems

FLUSH-FITTING ANCHOR POCKET 

For the designer or owner who prefers the clean hull look, only the flat baseplate of the anchor is visible on the hull exterior. This baseplate can be in mirror polished stainless to set in with the small exterior flange and sunken scratch plates. A much more discreet look to complement the hull exterior.

This configuration works on a steep bow, and is used in tandem with the specially designed class approved High Holding Power (HHP) Manson Hiding Anchor.

CLASSIC ANCHOR POCKET 

The traditional anchor in pocket bow design, with an exposed anchor for the owner who wishes to have their anchoring hardware on display. Pockets are designed to minimise chain disruption,  but still retain the mirror-polished overall look to complement the sharp end of the vessel.

Numerous standard designs are available to suit all HHP and SHHP anchor variants. This is the traditional classic 70’s style anchor pocket.

STERN ANCHOR SYSTEM

Low profile stern systems are perfect for keeping your vessel as and where you need it. They are especially useful for larger yachts that would like to be stern-to while the owner and guests are swimming. Whilst, of course, keeping dynamic positioning switched off.

The Bowmaster stern systems can  be designed easily and comfortably to fit in the aft quarter and deploy the anchors well clear of appendages and propulsion systems.

Deck Deployment Systems

ANCHOR DEPLOYMENT ARMS

Fabricated articulating deployment arms are an ideal solution when looking to project the anchor well forward of the bow, while maintaining clean lines during transit.

Available in mirror polished, glass bead blasted stainless steel or anodised aluminium.  Arms can be used for vessels from 10m (generally single anchor arms) to 100m (dual anchors). Custom designs available. All systems are built under the watchful eye of class societies and build certificates are available.

ANCHOR DEPLOYMENT CARRIAGES

Anchor deployment carriages enable the anchor to swing forward and project clear of the hull during deployment. This is especially useful for vessels with plum bows or more vertical sections. All systems are gravity deployed and retracted using windlass power to avoid conflicting systems and additional cost.

Available in aluminium, stainless or titanium. Fully fabricated from plate. Both standard and custom designs available.

ANCHOR DEPLOYMENT DISH

An operational showpiece on the bow of any large yacht, the anchor deployment dish provides a functional and crew-friendly anchor deployment system. The dish includes winch mount, compressor mount and anchor deployment neatly arranged into one unit. This provides a robust and easily serviceable deployment mechanism as well as aesthetically appealing and secure anchor storage. Units are fully commissioned on site to ensure operation before installation.

Available in mirror or glass bead blasted stainless steel.  Fully fabricated from plate. Custom designs available. Class approved materials and systems, 3D scanning available upon request.
